Steve and I had just been catching up on our day before an odd bang cut us off and the last thing I heard Steve say was "that was a mortar I have to go". All I remember is wondering what now, will I get a call? Will I even find out what happened? If the worst has happened would I be able to bury him? Today I know all those answers are yes, I can't even begin to explain how much comfort that brings. If Steve is deployed again the respect and recognition our family will be given will only help strengthen his focus and service to the country.
